Holy crap! Has it really been that long since I posted on here?
Sooo much has happened since the last post. I guess I should start by saying that life hasn't sucked at Bailey's in quite a long time now.
Shortly after the last post, I was promoted to the Assistant Customer Service Manager, and I now share an office with my boss. I have my very own desk! Yay!
I recently found out how much I mean to the company. I wasn't happy with how much I was making, and the word had been put out that NO ONE was going to be receiving a raise until sometime 2007, so I started looking for a new job. Well, a pretty damn good one with excellent pay and great benefits landed in my lap, so I put in my notice at Bailey's. Well, after a short talk with one of the owners, who very upset at the prospect of my leaving the company, I had to face a tough decision. He had managed to finagle a raise that would mean my staying would be worth it, and the company was switching medical insurance carriers which meant the benefits would be equal, so I had to make the decision between staying and going.
I though about it long and hard for about 2 days. Finally I came to the conclusion that this company and the many people that work for it had really become like my second family and there isn't any way that I can leave when they made it worth it. So, Bailey's it is. It was a really great feeling finally knowing that the work I do is VERY appreciated from every level within the company.
On to other news-- Jennifer is going to be starting kindergarten this fall, LeeAnna is going into 5th grade, and Adam is going into 4th. I will have to put up some pictures of them because they have gotten huge! Little man is all over the place, having become quite the adventerous climber now. Oh, and he has recently begun potty-training himself. At 20 months old. I'm so lucky!
