So I get my computer back, and then I can't use the damn thing because we had a major power outtage last night. The power was out for 5 hours. Of course, the power couldn't go out during the day when it wouldn't have freeked the kids out so much, but instead went out at 6 p.m. when it's as dark as midnight. Thankfully I have some very resourceful neighbors who happen to have a LOT of flashlights! Thank you again J&K!
But I finally got to sleep and managed to get myself back on a normal schedule. Hopefully. If I can actually manage to sleep tonight, then that means that I will be back on schedule.
But while I was sleeping I had some funky dreams. I dreamt that Dave had gotten himself another girlfriend and kicked me and the kids out of our house and was being a major asshole to us. Keeping the car and everything. (Can you say "issues due to previous relationships"?)
Well, Mother Nature, who just loves to tease us Alaskans, has begun the "Spring Break-Up" tease again. I went outside yesterday to come face to face with melting snow, water dripping off of the rooftops, and VERY icy roads. Oh, and of course, the high winds that knocked out the power for 5 hours. Oh, did I mention that the power was out for 5 hours? (I've never been through an outtage for that long, so it was kind of new to me!)
Well, that's about all that I can think of that's new. I'll be on later to give an update of the past month that I've been MIA.

Maybe choose a different color besides that blue - a little hard to read.
Anyway it was fun to keep the kiddos entertained. How often to get to read aloud anymore?!
